About Tularosa
Tularosa Moto was born of a passion for all things motorcycle. Whether tearing it up at the track, running the canyons or heading into the wilds of Mexico, Tularosa is out there on two wheels whenever possible. Every product we sell is inspired by the needs of avid riders and road tested by our staff and friendly crew.
Tularosa Moto is located in San Diego, California and has the distinct pleasure of being bounded by the Pacific Ocean to the west and some of the best mountain roads in the world just minutes to the east. If you’re ever in the area, look us up. Let’s ride!

John Mireles
On most weekends, you’ll find our company founder John Mireles riding his Ducati Monster on the twisty mountain roads that ring the Southern California coastline. When not hands deep in motorcycle grease, Mireles can often be found behind the camera. In his previous life as a professional photographer and artist, he’s photographed ad campaigns for Fortune 500 companies and had his work exhibited in galleries, public spaces and museums around the country. Mireles is also a former sponsored rock climber who wishes he could ride half as well as he could once scale steep mountain cliffs.

Avash Chitrakar
Our product guru Avash Chitrakar began his riding career at age 12 in the myth inspiring city of Katmandu in his home country of Nepal. He cut his teeth on a 125cc Honda commuter bike that’s typical of the tightly packed city where he grew up. After emigrating to the US, he graduated to a Ducati Monster and before bumping up to a Yamaha R6 and Suzuki GSX. In addition to being a regular fixture in the San Diego riding scene, Avash regularly participates in various obstacle course races to prove just how much suffering he is able to endure. He counts among his super powers the ability to identify any motorcycle at a moment’s glance.

Pulak Datt
Bringing a unique combination of experience in engineering and experiential marketing, Pulak Datt is working on business development and operations. Obsession only begins to describe Pulak’s love of motorcycling. Although he got a relatively late start, riding his first motorcycle at the age of 26, Pulak’s skills progressed quickly. Within 4 years, he went from riding a starter bike, to twisty roads and track days with a Suzuki GSX-R750, and on to club racing a Honda CBR600RR to win an amateur national championship! Nowadays, Pulak loves to ride his Ducati Monster through the canyon roads, discovering backcountry dirt roads on his dual sport, and sharing his joy of motorcycling with those new to the sport.
